My 10-year-old cat, Leo, has severe asthma. He's been my best buddy since I adopted him as a kitten in July of 2015. Recently, a mucus plug developed in his right lung and caused it to partially collapse. I took him to the emergency vet, but unfortunately could not afford to get him a bronchoscopy and a lavage, which would involve sending a tube down into his lung to try and break the mucus plug up and remove it. Leo has been on antibiotics, two different asthma medicines and steroids (prednisolone). The steroids have helped to reduce inflammation, but they are putting a strain on his heart, which is already working overtime because his right lung isn't working at full capacity. If I don't get him the help he needs soon, he won't last much longer. At this point, I'm praying for a miracle.
I created this shirt to help my cat. Every dollar I make from it goes towards his care. On the back of the shirt is a QR code that connects to Leo's GoFundMe Campaign. It may seem far-fetched, but I'm doing everything I can to help him. I love him and want him to live a full life.
